How long do PT sessions last?

Although all patients are different, typically, the first session lasts for about 1 hour.  Each individualized, one-on-one session after that may range from 30 to 45 to 60 minutes.

The amount of therapy needed may vary, and will be based on your specific diagnosis and needs.  Your therapist will discuss this with you. You will most likely see your therapist twice to three times per week, to begin with, and as you progress through treatment, your sessions will be more spread out.
